Austria is just an hour away from the town of Regensburg. With this opportunity, we took a trip to Salzburg. Salzburg is one of the famous cities in Austria and they are proudly name one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Although we went to Salzburg on winter but we were not lucky enough to enjoy the view of the Salzburg city that cover with snow. Salzburg also defined as salt fortress.
We went to the aircraft museum; this museum was sponsored by the Red Bull energy drink. In the museum it displays more of the fighter engine and also the F1 car. Those are the actual units. And the entrance is free. To those who are very interested in F1 car racing or aircraft, this is a place where it is worth to visit.

Hohensalzburg is one of the biggest castles in the world. It was the 5th biggest castle in the world. The castle was built by Archbishop Gebhard von Helfenstein in 1077 and fully completed on 1622 by Archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau. We required to park our car far downhill of the castle and we took about 20 minutes’ walk to reach the entrance of the castle. The entrance fee to the castle is only 5 Euro. We had visited part of the museum in the Hohensalzburg and also the watch tower of the castle where we are able to have a panoramic view of the Salzburg city. Due to winter, the day is short, and we have the chance to see the night view at 4.30pm. In conjunction with the Christmas festival, they organized a small Christmas market in the Castle and allow us to experience the atmosphere of the Christmas festival. I was great and we can see them enjoying their family time in the Hohensalzburg.
