Jaundice drop from 246 to 161, well done my son. He was under the care of NICU. Under the UV light to reduce the jaundice index number. It is hard to comfort a baby under the UV light, I am very thankful to the nurses who taking care of my little one. I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation on their patient to take care of the baby and guiding my wife in breast feeding as well as gave us a short introduction to take care of the baby. Thanks a million to Pai Ling and her beautiful colleague, you both are insane.

Mom and baby were discharged from Adventist Hospital at 2pm today and our practical has begin just as the baby reach home. Parenthood...

From the hospital, we learned that they do not feed the baby with milk bottle, but using spoon or small cup to feed the baby. Although it takes longer time to feed the baby, this will enable the baby will eager more to have breast feeding. Parents need to have all the patient to train the baby. It is not an easy job for every first timer mother to learn breast feeding, especially during the newborn period. Thank god my baby is doing well.
