 MCO day 46 (2 May 2020)

Italiano Pizza day, life could be interesting but it’s all depends on you. We made this simple Italiano Pizza for lunch. It was made out of bread, chicken, pineapple, spaghetti source and cheese. Put them all together and back in the oven for 15 min and it was ready to serve, simple nice and delicious.

It had been quite some time that I was keep cleaning the cat’s poo at my backyard where the cars comes everyday on time and discharge in my small garden. Trying all ideas such as putting red bottle, orange skin to throw away the smell or add in with pepper, some sharp stick to avoid the cats from dropping in, but it just failed. We were looking for more ways to keep the cats away.

After tired of cleaning, we made a simple dinner and found a small hot plate for our small home gathering steamboat. It was simple to made, taste great and healthier life style. The kids, they love it!

MCO day 47 (3 May 2020)

As I mentioned life is interesting. Yesterday we were enjoying the Italian Cuisine and today we were in Hong Kong and Thai. We have Thai style sweet and sour pork knuckle and Hong Kong Wan Tan Mee for lunch. The day was still wonderful even we were lock down at home.

MCO also gave us another reason to spend time with our children at home. After getting my work done, we spend time with our children to draw. It was such a good piece of art to combine all everyone’s artwork in a piece of paper. It looks beautiful and warm. There should not be any rules for children to draw their creativity in art and parents are playing the part to guide or to help up without saying it is right or wrong. There should not be wrong in art.

MCO day 48 (4 May 2020)

It was a poo cleaning day again. It has been many days continued and still unable to solve the problem… You can see how many stick I have out into the garden, but the cat still appear on time! Damn it!

MCO day 49 (5 May 2020)

Can’t stand it anymore, decided to put on a snare trap and waiting… but the cats did not appear. Smart ass town cat!

MCO Day 50 (6 May 2020)

My first Zoom session with my uni buddy… a nice chatting session. Man’s talk, of course with beer!

MCO day 51 (7 May 2020)

Wesak day! Another public holiday for us. We intend to treat ourselves better during the none-stress day and my wife is cooking delicious food to serve us better. I was happy that I have received my rubber wood for my next project, kitchen table extension.

MCO day 52 (8 May 2020)

Now you can see the progress of my sons were improving from their previous artwork. From the previous artwork, they were trying to produce a brochure out of their Lego. Today they searched the instructions ebooklet from the internet and used available parts or replacement parts to assemble the truck, capture both photos and video with commentator explaining the truck they assemble. We might have difficulty to become commentator but seems no difficulty for them.

MCO day 53 (9 May 2020)

After the coffee table was made, we fully utilized the table. On this day, the private barber shop has opened. Body was covered by umbrella cloth added with a table fan on my coffee table to make them comfortable for haircut.

Then, the table was moved into the living room for him to attend the Google class room. The table was designed with locking wheel has its flexibility to shift around the house, small size that can store at any corner of the house and it is light weight as well.

Some reward for my table made, one of my favourite cod fish.

MCO day 54 (10 May 2020)

The MCO rules have been loosen where visiting was allowed. Parents still not able to can come over for celebration and we only can have a small Mother’s Day celebration… Seems like the wrong person in the picture, but he looked much happier than the mother. Actually he made the mothers happy.

MCO day 55 (11 May 2020)

After seeing a number of my friend trying cloudy egg and posted on the social media, I decided to give a try. Recipe: Separate the egg yolk and egg white, beat the egg white until it became foam. Insert the egg white into the oven with 200 degree C for 10 min then insert the egg yolk on it. But I fail to locate the egg yolk on it but broken the egg yolk… It looked like a volcano. I changed the name to volcano egg!! He has doubt on the taste of this new dish! I would say not bad lah!

MCO day 56 (12 May 2020)

I was given the recipe of congo chicken from my uncle who is a talented teow chew chef and finally I gave a try today. It tastes great!

This set of Altec Lansing speaker was finally put in match with my favourite computer game. I love playing strategy game, Red Alert, Command and Conquer were my favourite games at all time and today I had enough of it with the great sound system.

Strawberry from the state of Donald Duck was big, however I understand that this was not the biggest. Biggest strawberry in the world is from Japan and it is a rare species in the world. It was name under top 10 expensive fruits in the world.

MCO day 57 (13 May 2020)

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome my new toy and their new toy, into my family member, 24 inch Tefal cooking pot and 10 pieces of Lego base. This is a none-stick pot and a great cooking pot to cook delicious food for a small family like us. Welcome and more great food to come.

Lego base are expensive item however thanks to Lazada and China to produce a compatible product and cost down a lot and allow my children to enjoy it. Lego selling 2 piece of Lego base at RM 50, while China is selling at RM 6.80. It was really a huge different.

MCO day 58 (14 May 2020)

Movie was going to start soon… We have been to Sabah on 2019 with our family and we have been keep telling our children that those place we have been before and we have conquer the highest mountain in South East Asia, which is Mt Kinabalu. Today finally I have cleaned up my hard disc and show them the slide shows summary of our trip back in 2007 which was about 13 years ago when my wife made her decision to say I do. During those days, I organized the entire Sabah trip and brought 11 of us enjoyed the Sabah trip with only RM 1000 inclusive, food and beverage, accommodation and transport for 8 days 7 nights. Really flash back all our memories… miss the moment that can never come back again.

MCO day 59 (15 May 2020)

Been trying to do vegetable regrown but it just fail most of the time. This time we tried some other method and seems to see some progressing. Hope for the more positive energy to come. And on this day, we marked the history that we were finally able to have our family gather with our parents. Such a long time that we miss the moment. Even a simple dish will be great for this family catch up. More good days to come.

MCO day 60 (16 May 2020)

This day was a very special day for both of us to celebrate. We have made our life journey throughout the 11 years together. We gone through all the ups and downs, hard time happy time together. It was just amazing. No big celebration for the day but just happily enjoy the day together. Happy Anniversary.

I am a designer and I love creativity… Children should learn to be creative since young to develop their mind, their logic thinking. Their action reminds me of how the music was invented. Human found different frequency of sound to form together and make rhythm that was how human expose and created music. Their experiment shows. And here was another creativity from them, staked up the wood to form helipad.

Other than their creativity, parents also learned to be creative as well. Material is in (cement and bricks), I was ready for the next project! Stay tune for next episode of phase 1 home DIY project.

At overseas, things can go well because of the citizens are following instructions maintain discipline. As a young generation of Malaysian we should follow the SOP and discipline to make the country become better. With that we ourselves can be proud to be Malaysian. Please follow SOP, its hot, it took longer time to queue compare to before, its ok… we did our job as a responsible Malaysian and make our country better.

On this meaningful day, we created our homemade Italian Hawaiian Pizza party. It just made by simple crispy thin bread, pineapple, meat, tomato source and cheese. Crispy and tasty… yummy yummy!

A simple celebration of Skol beer + sour plum + lime + lemon… taste fantastic. Theory, its not about the drink but who do you drink with.
