Family Gathering Trip

It was my long wait Family Gathering trip to Cameron Highlands. It falls on the 4th day of the Chinese New Year. We have no choice but have to chose the time near to the Chinese New Year due to my brother is available and in Malaysia. After wake Chong Hee up in the morning, bath, took our breakfast and we were already on our way up to Cameron Highlands for the gathering.

Begun our journey from Malacca at 11.30am and reach Cameron around 5.30pm. I was a jamming at on the way up to EQ hotel. Cameron Highlands is like a small town up on the hill top but was crowded with tourist all over Malaysia. There is only 1 main road from Brinchang to Tanah Rata. Thus jam along the way is an avoidable. At first we were very worry on Chong Hee's condition, he was not feeling well starting for the second day of Chinese New Year. Been coughing since then. But he was "ok" at Cameron. He does not feel cool as we think of. But just too bad that, there was once he cough until vomit. Heart broken when experience the incident.

Can see that from the trip, dad was very happy and enjoying his family time with his grand son, Jovan and Chong Hee. When we close a family into a room, the environment always get warmer, especially when there are kid and baby around. My son is the smiling one, while Jovan has his own style and pattern when come to talking. Just very unfortunate that both them were sick and not able to get close (body contact) to each other.

It has been many times that I had been to Cameron Highlands, I think at least 10 times. It is not that important to tour around in Cameron, but the family gathering, warm, feel and memory is more important. I am very happy that family photo were capture at there. Leave us the memory of family tour. It has been more than 15 years we never had a family trip since we went to Bangkok together with my late grandma when I was 14.
