Fullmoon!

Photobucket

Guess what, its fullmoon! Hurray!!!

Daddy wake up very early in the morning knocked Grandpa and Grandma's door to go to market to buy some raw material and had an early breakfast. When will I be going together with you for breakfast? Right now I only can smell my mother's breast and my milk bottle. Just can't wait to join you all for breakfast. Daddy and grandparents begun their preparation work for my full moon praying ceremony. Mom dress me up with my new clothes together with the necklaces that Grandparents gave and grandma in-law gave. Look, was it nice?

Ding dong ding dong, 12 noon sharp we were start praying to the late parents. Dad and mom carried me and help me to pray and followed by my grandparents. While Pek deh (Hainanese means uncle who is elder than my daddy) from United States was conference call with us on the skype. Thanks to the technology today that bring us so close and its free of charge. Soon, my grand aunties and uncles came to my house and join in the praying ceremony. My grand auntie came all the way from Australia just to wish us. Thank you to grand auntie Min. Grand auntie Lily with her family and grand auntie Khai Man came later.

After the praying ceremony, it was time to fill the food into the stomach, party time! Daddy specially request grandma in-law to cook "lor ark" (gravy duck) that suits everyone's taste. We have vege, chicken, soup, Chinese tradition red egg, ang ku kuih (a type of finger cake started by Nyonya in those days), "char siew and Siew bak" (sweet roasted port and crispy roasted pork). Great-grand uncle loves the duck feet and chicken backside. Grandpa has the similar taste with daddy, who loves the gravy duck so much. Enjoy seeing everyone is enjoying the meal.

Thank you for coming to my mini full moon party in Chinese tradition way of celebration. There will be another major full moon party coming on the 26-11-2011. Thank you daddy and mommy, grandparents for making my full moon graduation party so happening. I love you all :D
