大年初一，龙年行大运，龙年乐安康！

新年来咯！

Happy Chinese New Year! It is a Dragon year in Chinese Lunar Calender. Every year I had done the same thing in the early morning of the Chinese New Year. Wake up early, clean up myself and enjoy my breakfast before the journey begin. But this year we have new comer to join us on the Chinese New Year day.

After my breakfast, its time for Chong Hee to wake up for his brand new year. Before put him into bath, we started to teach him some light exercise. As we exercise his hand, leg, body and head we sing along. Can see that he was enjoying the fund exercise moment.





After changing to new clothes, its time to say "恭喜！恭喜！". Wishing Grand pa, grand ma, uncles and aunties in the morning and receiving red packets from them. It was his first Ang Pao (Red Packet). At this moment, my son could not understand most of the language that we spoke, and things given to him, but the best thing he can reply is his New Year smile. Look, how sweet he is.

Chong Hee and my wife..... so lovely.


"Ku Kong" (grand uncle) on the left. He was the one that taking the effort to take care of dad when my dad was in the childhood. His effort and sacrifice mean a lot to my dad. My dad always very thankful to him. Chong Hee should have feel thankful to him as well, as our home baby cord was presented by this grand uncle. Thank you Ku Kong.

Another person that we feel very thankful to him is "babak" (that is how we greed him in Hainan - dad's elder brother). He is the kind uncle who had help to grew us up when we were young. When I was young, my dad was away to outstation for work. He helped to fetch my brother to tuition class, bring me to eat fast food, taking care of us like his own son. So happy to see him carry my son during the Chinese New Year. He is a very nice person.




Special thanks to my brother who bough this cloth all the way from US. As the price for this baby cloth will be around 10 times higher in Malaysia then price in US.

New Year Eve

It was his first Chinese Dragon New Year Eve for Chong Hee. A family reunion day for everyone. As usual Chinese will pray to their late relative such as grand parents or great grand parents during the New Year Eve lunch. Same to us. Brother and family came back all the way from US for the New Year celebration. But very unfortunate Jovan was down with cough and mild flu.



We had prepare our grand parents favourite food and drinks, such as hard liquor for my grandpa, fried fish and Kopi-O for my beloved late grandma. She was the one who taking care of me and my brother during our baby hood. We always remember her and sometimes still do dream of her. She changed our life, she educated us all the manner even though she has never been to school before. She cook for us (I miss her chicken porridge). Her level of patient is top class! Never met a person has better temper than her. Take this opportunity we let our child to pray respect to our grandparents which is their great grand parents.






My wife was preparing for the praying ceremony. Evidence showing she was offering her helping hands.

After all the food were serve on the table, light up the candle, it was time for the praying ceremony. It symbolize the meaning we invite our late parents to come for the treat and family gathering. This is a ceremony for Chinese to show their respect to their late parents. At the same time, story telling of our late parents will be carried out to give a good impression to our young one about our late parents.











After the food were served, praying were done, we wait for the late parents to had their lunch. Dad is number 1 in entertainment, he was the entertainer for the day with his grandson. While waiting for the praying ceremony to over, dad was having so much fun with baby Jovan.

Beckham - Tan Chong Hee

Few years back, David Beckham (Famous English footballer) make his mohican hairstyle and he has created his treat mark to become Beckham hairstyle and well known in worldwide. After bath with my baby in the morning, while his hair still wet, we play around with his hair. Look! he so handsome.

Finally I can have my "Tang Yuan" at home together with my wife and son. Its a long wait for me. Thanks to my wife making her effort to boil the syrup. Yummy yummy

Chong Hee first Hotel Ballroom Dinner (14-1-2012)

After 3 months Chong Hee was born, it was his first time to attend a ballroom function. It was Uncle Tuang's son got married (dad old days neighbourhood). Congratulation Uncle Tuang. Attending family gathering together with aunties and uncles is always the best. They love babies as much as we do. They take turns to carry and taking care of Chong Hee and at the same time, he be the "man of the match". Cough a lot of attention and also entertain a lot of people with his smile :D

I was on leave for Chong Hee.... Was sending him to government hospital for injection. Doctor advise to monitor his temperature after the injection. Baby may get fever after the injection. On the same night, we went to Tesco to buy some glossary and some stock for Chinese New Year. While pushing the trolley we found that Chong Hee was experiencing mild fever. By putting on a cool handkerchief may reduce his fever.

With the handkerchief on his head, he follow the treat mark like the famous artist in Malaysia, Namewee acted in the movie Nasi Lemak 2.0. Namewee is a Hainanese as well. yo yo!, 陈昌熙你要什么？

My Son Is On F1 Ferrari Test Drive

My customer gave me some "New Year Ang Paos". Loaded a lot of jobs to me, leave me no choice have to request my wife to pick up my baby after work. OT pour in before CNY. Need to clear all the things before Chinese New Year, so that I can have a peace of mind for holiday on the CNY week.

Usually I will send the baby to the baby sitter together with his portable bed, but too bad that my wife is not able to carry the portable bed. As the bed design will need a lot of energy to carry the bed and we have to find alternative solution. I was thinking to use the car seat. Thus before we install the car seat into my wife's car, we have a test. Here is some photos and video of Chong Hee test drive.

Stella is not from Stella In, she is a very nice girl to chat with.... young, sporting and likes to crap a lot.
